User Brenda Woodall Asked:

I need an AC-AC Adaptor for a inflatable outdoor decoration the model number Is JXA-12V1700-IP44. Where can I find one and how much do they cost.

Our Technician Answers:

Hi Brenda. All the power supplies we sell are AC to DC. This means that the input is normal 120 Volt or 240 Volt household current, and the output is DC (Direct Current), usually 12 Volt, similar to what you have in your car. For an AC-AC power supply I would suggest your local electronics store...

User Mike Asked:

I need an ac adapter for a Uniden BCT8. The specs are 12V DC 500mA. Should I just order the 12V 1A? Thanks for your help.

Our Technician Answers:

Hi Mike. Yes, that is exactly correct. You will round up to nearest whole amperage, so the 500 mA, which is the same as .5 Amp, will round up to 1 Amp. The 12 Volt 1 Amp power supply will work for you.

User Kit Autry Asked:

Had a fire 3 yrs ago and just retained a couple of 500 GB External hard drives but, no AC adapters. The first one is, a SeaGate DeskTop 12V output, 2AMP 3.0 USB. P/N 9ZH9P77-RAA. With an, SS computer plug on it The second one is a Western Digital, MDL: WD5000D032-000. I know that it is 12V But not sure if it is a 2 AMP or a 3 AMP. it has, what appears to be, 3 plugs. One computer and , 2 fire wire. The DC plugs are differant size per each model or P/N. If you could help me figure this out? it would greatly appreciated and, I could retain some of the files that were thought to be lost in the fire. Thank you for your time. KA

Our Technician Answers:

Hi Kit. As far as the Amperage and Voltage of power supply, it is simple. They are both 12 Volt, so you can use the same adapter for both. In this case, since one is 2 Amp, and the other 3 Amp, you will use the higher rated one. The 3 Amp, which is the maximum load you can put on the power supply, will work for both. As far as the connector, all our power supplies come with a standard 5.5mm x 2.5mm DC connector. You will see if this matches your device.

User Tom Buehrer Asked:

I am looking for a ac-dc 12v power adapter for a wall mounted Encore AM/FM Cassette recorder/player Model 7677 by Electro Brand. This unit was in a Park Model home that we just purchased, the unit seems good but is missing the 12v power adapter. I believe that it requires to be center pin +, and I think according to what info I have is Part no. 78w. What greatly appreciate any help that I can get, so that I can power up the recorder and check it out. Any brand of adapter is probably OK, as long as the pin diameter and polarity is correct, I believe that the outside diameter of the connector would be 5mm, Many thanks, Tom

Our Technician Answers:

Hi Tom.. It looks like you need a basic 12V Power Supply. For a load of 78 Watts, you will need to divide the wattage by the voltage, to find out the amperage. In this case it is 78 divided by 12, giving you 6.5A (Amps). You always round up for amperage. So the power supply you need is the Standard or UL Listed 12 Volt, 7 Amp, power supply.

User Gregory Asked:
